UPDATE: HPN 2020 Covid-19 short term plans

Dear HPN Owners,

As everyone continues to navigate through the Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic, and as we approach the normal summer season, we felt it important to provide a short update on High Point North’s plans and approach to prepare in the near term.

At our regular May 2nd Board meeting, the Board has asked Tom and the staff to continue with normal preparations for the 2020 season, in anticipation of restrictions being reduced or lifted in the foreseeable future. This will include the annual re-staining of the deck; preparing the pool; luggage cart refurbishment and other normal projects.   We are asking our staff to take appropriate precautions as they continue their duties.

However, while we are preparing for the upcoming season, we also want to make sure that everyone understands that we are required to follow certain regulations in some instances. For example, our pool is considered a “public” pool by the Department of Health, and we will be unable to open the pool for use until they remove the restrictions.

To that end, the Board also agreed that we will continue to follow the direction of our State and Local governments in terms of restrictions & recommendations. We ask that you do the same as we look forward to seeing everyone in Ocean City as soon as possible.
